Digital Shopfloor
At L&T Valves facilities, manufacturing complexity is managed by a proprietary digital platform that ensures 100% visibility and on-time delivery. All major valve components are barcoded on receipt at the facility, and information required for manufacture (such as bill of materials, and machining, assembly, testing and packing instructions) is drawn from the companywide ERP system for error-free manufacture. The app also provides reliable project management
ValvTrac
When the valve is ready for despatch, all relevant information and reports, cross referenced to valve serial number, are transferred to an RFID tag attached to the valve – thereby providing all installation, operation and maintenance information, literally at the fingertips.
